Zazie Beetz, born 1991, was born in Berlin. Her father is a German cabinet maker who emigrated to America in the year 1990. United States in 1990 after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and her mother is a South African-American social worker who hails from New York. Jennifer Aniston is also a student at the same high school. Beetz, who graduated from LaGuardia in 2007, was a student at Skidmore College and studied French. After graduating from college Beetz began to audition immediately and was offered the part as Van in Atlanta. Beetz was born in Berlin of an ethnically mixed German father as well as an African American mother. They both grew up in New York. Performing in community theaters and local stages from childhood, Zazie found her joy in grade school and grew to become an actor.
